ABOUT THE PHOTO

This photo was taken on September 18, 2026 at the Great Forest Park Balloon Glow.

I've been attending this event since I was too young to walk and even though I'm 32 now, I feel like it still captures that childlike wonder. 

If you want to practice taking photos at night, do it at a balloon glow. I can't think of any other place that offers the amount of color and light at night. I chose this photo for the club because I have always loved how the light of one balloon will bounce off of the other balloons that surround it. I also really like how the balloons dwarf the people in the basket beneath.
